The basics of the Tournament is that it is a 5-a-side competition in the World cup format to be held at the Gol Football Centre which is the first purpose built 5-a-side football centre to be built in Wales. Gol is located near to Cardiff Leisure centre, 5 minutes from the heart of Cardiff. Gol will be providing us with professional referees on the day.
The games will start at 12 noon and will conclude around 4:30 pm so with each team being guaranteed 4 games of 12 min each (more if you make it beyond the pool stage) it will be a full day of football.
There is a limit of 8 players per team. There will hopefully be 30 odd teams contending on the day so it will be a challenging competition.
We are asking all teams to raise in excess of £100. At least £100 must be received before a position is confirmed. This is to cover costs and raise some money for Ty Hafan to go towards the £2.5 million the hospice needs each year to keep offering its special services to children and families from across Wales.
There will be unique event t-shirts given to all players.
The Ty Hafan Trophy is up for grabs for the team with the will to win.
