George Burley latest Championship manager to go

George Burley left Derby County this week to become the 11th Championship manager to leave their club since last August. Burley resigned claiming his position had become "untenable."

Burley has already been linked to the vacant post at Millwall, a post that Lennie Lawrence is thought to be a candidate for.

Craig Brown was the first to go when he was sacked by Preston early in the season. Since then (in no particular date order) the following teams have all changed managers

Cardiff City, Coventry City, Derby County, Gillingham, Leicester City, Millwall, Nottingham Forest, Rotherham United, Watford and Wolves.

Of the 11 teams 8 of them finished in the bottom half of the table.
