Gary Croft linked again?

"Those were the days" reports that they have received information claiming that Croft would make his last appearance for Ipswich in a friendly at Saffron Walden tonight before join Cardiff on a free transfer. Since then the Official Ipswich website has announced the withdrawl of Croft from the squad.

I would have thought that the imminent signing of Chris Barker would have put an end to Lennie's interest in Croft but he is an admirer of the player and may want to get him as well.
