Reports today claim that Galatasary could be about to step in and snatch Gary Medel from under Inter Milan's nose.
It could all be part of a plan to raise the price of the Chilean world cup star as he appeared to be on the verge of signing for Inter.
The Italians wanted a loan deal first with a view to buy after a year but Cardiff wanted to recoup as much of the £11m they spent on Medel as soon as possible.
It's thought a deal with Inter would see Medel sold for approx 7m euro plus bonuses. Initially Cardiff wanted 12m euro.
Either way Medel looks to have played his last game for Cardiff after a disappointing season in the Premier League. Medel came with a big reputation and after a promising start his season faded out before a successful World Cup campaign with Chile.
It's ironic that after starring at Brazil 2014 his value has decreased.
Update:
Sky reports about the wage details in the deal for Gary Medel. The player and the Inter directors found an agreement a few weeks ago and now Medel is just waiting for the deal to become official to join Inter. Sky reports that Medel is signing a five year contract worth 1.8 million euro’s a season.
