"I'm a City player and I enjoy it here. I'm not going anywhere." said Gabbidon. "They've been good to me and hopefully the club feel I've been good to them.
"This club has made such progress in a short time and it's been great to be part of that. But it would be fantastic to take that extra step into the Premiership.
"Earnie can't walk down the street without somebody asking him whether he's staying. It's not up to me to speculate about his future, but I hope he's going to stay because we have a job to finish.
"All the talk is just speculation and Earnie would tell you the same. You see it in the papers and it's flattering because it shows you are playing well or developing as a player, but until a club say they want to buy me and City say they want to sell I'm not going to believe it."
