With on loan Tony Watt out of the squad it wasn't looking too good as City lined up to face Wolves. Only the most optimistic would have predicted a City win and with the news yesterday of a transfer embargo on top of back back defeats there can't have been too many of those.
But today at Molineux with a lone striker and five midfielders Cardiff turned up and goals from Craig Noone (2) and Joe Ralls helped themselves to three points that puts a play off place just five points away.
When leading 2-0 City did let Wolves back into it but today we pushed on and got the third goal rather than capitulate and fail to win.
Well done.
