Lex Immers (pictured) and Stuart O'Keefe scored the goals that gave Cardiff back to back wins and move the Bluebirds level on points (unless Sheff Weds pick up points against Rotherham in the 3pm) with 6th place.
Immers struck from 10 yards in the 21st minute after being set up by Joe Ralls, that was Immers' 3rd goal in five starts for City.
Despite coming under pressure in the second half City broke to score against the run of play and secure the points in the 83rd minute. Tom lawrence's shot was saved but Stuart O'Keefe followed up to head past Richard O'Donnell in the Robins goal.
City now face two home games with Leeds (Tuesday) and Ipswich (next Saturday) coming to CCS. The play off race is well and truly on.
