Nugent joined the O's from Cardiff a year ago.
He told the Western Mail
"I know it's possible that I could be the target of abuse if I'm not successful at Swansea, but I hope the fans will get behind me. Swansea need someone to help score goals to get them out of trouble and that's why I have joined."
