Marustik, a Welsh international, also played for Swansea during his career and after leaving Cardiff moved to Barry Town.
The highlight of his footballing days was probably when he was the regular right back with Swansea during the 2 seasons they spent in the First Division, where he looked a good player, and won 7 Wales U-21 international caps, together with 6 full caps. He arrived at City in exchange for Roger Gibbins, scoring on his debut.
He died this week aged just 54.
Our sincere condolences go out to the family and friends of former Bluebird, Chris Marustik, who has sadly passed away.
