Fitz Hall signs for Southampton

Cardiff were reported to have offered upto £500,000 but the lure of the Premiership has seen Hall move for just £250,000 to the South Coast.

Southampton have not confirmed it on their official website buy Sky Sports claim the deal is done and have Gordon Strachan saying

"This was a great opportunity to sign someone for a very realistic fee and we can try and improve him as a player."
