Lennie will not name his side until before kick off but there will be a welcome return for Mark Bonner to first team action and other midfielders Des Hamilton, Jason Bowen and Andy Legg will all be trying to earn a start against Tranmere on Saturday. Des Hamilton came in for Gareth Whalley on Saturday at Barnsley, but Legg and Bowen will be working hard to secure a place back in the team. With Willie Boland absent through suspension this weekend there is another midfield place up for grabs as well.
Exeter City include former City striker Steve Flak in their line up and also former target and Swans player Kwame Ampadu is expected to play.
