His current contract has just ended and Mark Hughes has released the player. He has been linked with Dave Jones offering him a deal at Ninian Park now that his loan spell has come to an end.

Kanu taps in winner
Unfortunately for Enckleman he's being painted as the pantomime villain for his spill that allowed Kanu to score the FA Cup Final winning goal. A tad harsh as it was a difficult ball into the Finn but added to his all round punching performance it's something that's going to stick to him.

Enckleman came to City after Kapser Schmeichel was recalled by Man City. He soon made the ekeping slot his own and has performed pretty well overall. Now Jones must decide if Enckleman is strong enough to compete for a place at City or will he take him on as a challenger to a new keepr like Man Utd's Tom Heaton. The youngsters is thought to be close to moving to Ninian Park on a seasons long loan.
