Cardiff City have recalled midfielder Eli King from his loan spell at League Two Morecambe.
King, 21, made 24 appearances for the Shrimps after signing a season-long deal in July.
But he has been brought back to the Championship club early following the opening of the January transfer window.
Wales Under-21 international King signed a new three-year deal at Cardiff last summer having graduated from the club's academy.
He has made seven senior appearances for Cardiff and also spent time on loan at League Two Crewe last season.
King scored twice during his spell with Morecambe but was absent from last Saturday's 2-0 FA Cup third round defeat at Swansea City.
He now returns to Erol Bulut's squad ahead of Cardiff's home Championship fixture with Leeds.
