'We've been back for well over a month now and the overall quality of the squad has risen and is still rising,' says Jones. 'Standards are high. I work with the players every day and I see that.
'I mean no disrespect at all to players who have moved on, but that's how a football club should be run.
'We are growing stronger and as our quality overall rises then some players will not match the new levels.
'That's why I will never be happy. We've brought in new players, but I will always be looking for better.
'I was disappointed with attendances last season and we all want more people to come and support our quest for Premiership football.
'Season ticket sales are up on last season and that's great. But we'd love more. The team is growing, your club is evolving and moving forward. The stadium is going to be built and a new training ground will be available soon.'
