"The specialist said to us that the last time he saw anything like this was when a fireman was hit fully in the throat with a plank and was on a breathing machine for three and half weeks," Jones fumed.
"It was a horrendous incident.
"I think Neil (Warnock) and his chairman look silly with their comments on the incident.
"There seems to be a new saying in the game now: 'he ran onto his arm.'
"Of course the lad was not intending to put the lad in hospital we all understand that.
"Jordan can sit in his nice seat in the stand, but he did not have clue what was going on."
Jones was sent to the stands at half time when tempers flared on the touchline.
"I told the lad he was an absolute disgrace and shouldn't be playing football," said Jones. "And I also called him a coward.
"I'll be putting it all in my report.
"I think the FA have got it bang on, but I'm still fuming about it."
Jones hopes to have Johnson back in action but the damage caused was serious and the player is still getting over the shock as well as the injury.
"When Roger got told of the facts it shock him to the core," he said.
"He has been spitting blood and has a fractured larynx so that tells its own story."
Despite Neil Warnock's ramblings justice needs to be done here.
