"Half my team probably won't even know what went on and the player that got injured isn't even here any more," said Dave Jones on the eve of Crystal Palace's visit to the Cardiff City Stadium.
"So nobody's thinking about it. Unless you'd [the media] mentioned it to me I wouldn't have given it a second thought.
"It's gone now. I'm not upset with the player, I'm not upset with the football club or other players or whatever so it's all done and dusted. It's gone.
"It's no good looking back and worrying about something otherwise you forget what you're actually doing now."
Jones has been given the news that both Kevin McNaughton and Ross McCormack are available for selection. Jones should also have both Joe Ledley and Adam Matthews available as well after both missed the internationals with niggling injuries.
"We've missed our players who have been injured because we don't carry the biggest squad," said Jones.
"We are pleased to have them back. We've not had Kevin since pre-season and we haven't had Ross for around six weeks. Ross is looking sharp in training.
"We've always said we want competition for places at this football club. I think the other players welcome that too."
