Curbishley confirms he's watched Earnie

"I've been to see Robert Earnshaw a couple of times," Curbishley told the Charlton official website. "The better First Division players will be looking to take the step up if they can this summer, and he's one of them."

"I'm looking at people like that. I'm also looking at established Premiership players, as well as players from abroad."

Curbishley has already started his summer spending. He has brought in Danish keeper Stephan Andersen for a fee of £721,000.
