After being on the fringes for so long could Harris force himself on the first team squad?
His Development boss Kevin Cooper said after seeing him score the winner v SWansea on Monday night.
“He’s come back with a fantastic attitude and a willingness to learn, get better and prove that he’s there.
“We all know what Kadeem is capable of with the ball, he’s got pace and tricks, it was just a case of getting him a bit more clever with his positioning and decision making.
“He’s a work in progress but we’re starting to get the rewards and getting him into games and helping him to understand how he can affect a game in a positive way.
“I’m delighted for him because he’s a real prospect for us and so far he’s delivering.”
Harris himself told the official website.
“Last season I didn’t score nearly enough goals but now I’ve got a few in pre-season and a first in the league tonight.
“After last season I made sure that I practice more on my finishing because it definitely needed to be touched on and it seems to be working so far.
“I think I’m making good progress, I’ve scored a few goals now and we’re all doing well as a team. “
