Joe Bennett spent several minutes on the ground before being carried off on a stretcher during Cardiff City's 4 - 0 win over Derby last night.
Bennett, who had previously set up Leandro Bacuna's opening goal, fell to the ground unchallenged and was tended to on the pitch before being taken off.
“It’s his knee, and he’ll have it assessed tomorrow," Mick McCarthy said after the game. "I’m not a doctor or a surgeon, but he’s not in good shape at the moment. You could tell it was a really sore one."
