He was stretchered off the pitch on Tuesday night with suspected broken bones and ligament damage while playing for Wales U21's at Wrexham.
"On Tuesday night we thought he had no chance of playing against Brighton," Lennie told the Western Mail. "But there doesn't appear to be any ligament
damage and I think he's got a reasonable chance of making it."
With Robert Page out for a few weeks with a knee injury and Tony Vidmar only due back from South Africa today a fit James Collins would be a boost to a City side looking for a win against the team immediately above them in the
table.
No other injuries are reported meaning City could be unchanged from the team that lined up at West Ham last Sunday.
