The City defender has been called into Mark Hughes' squad for Wednesdays game in Budapest against Hungary (ko 7:15pm UK time).
Collins has played the last two City games and done well in both, last Saturday Hughes was at Ninian Park to see Collins and City's other Welsh players, Margetson, Gabbidon and Earnshaw help beat Sheffield Utd who had Robert Page in defence.
Paul Parry is missing. As reported earlier he is still out with a hamstring problem.
