The Bluebirds took the award for Family Club of the Year at the Football League Awards in London on Sunday evening.
Three other awards eluded City. Community Club of the Year was won by Charlton, Phil Parkinson pipped Malky to a managers award and Mark Hudson missed out on goal of the year.
On winning the award, Julian Jenkins from Cardiff City said: "We have had a huge increase in the number of fans and we want to give them more than what happens on the pitch. We have got a great backroom team that have worked so hard so this award is for them because they do a fantastic job, but for the fans as well."
Congratulations to the City on the Family Club award.
