Southampton have lost midfielder Djamel Belmadi through injury and he joins a long list of players sidelined from the Southampton side. There are too many for me to mention, click here, for a sick list from St Mary's.
It's unknown yet if Welsh youngster Gaeth Bale will play. He missed the defeat at Leicester after coming back from international duty with an injury. He is training though and Southampton hope to have him in the team tonight. He is a threat from set pieces, he has scored a few memorable free kicks this season including one for Wales 10 days ago.
Riccy Scimeca and Michael Chopra are said to have minor knocks but they are both expected to play as Dave Jones looks to name an unchanged XI for the visit of his former club.
City are unlike to break 20,000 tonight with Southampton not selling their full allocation of tickets. For the home sections though tckets are flying out of the ticket office and there is a likeliehood there will be few left when kick off comes around.
