Dave Jones has signed Wycombe captain Roger Johnson for a fee of £275,000.
The money will be paid in installments with a 15% sell on clause built into the deal.
The news comes out of the blue with Jones snapping up Johnson from under Swansea City's nose. Swansea had bid £100,000 for the player last month but that was rejected.
Johnson has started 146 league games for Wycombe scoring 19 goals. He has played for them his whole career.
