City seeded for Carling Cup draw

The 1st round of the Carling Cup is regionalised into North and South. The draw features seeded and unseeded teams who will play each other in round one. The match will be a one off game decided on the night.

Cardiff can only be drawn against one of the following teams either at home or away (part of the draw will determine the venue).

The second round opens out into a normal draw with teams in Europe joining in round 3. Leicester City have a bye into round two.
