City home to Sheff Utd in FA Cup rd 3

Anyone at home is the usual thought in the FA Cup and we managed that. Sheff Utd come to Ninian Park on the first weekend of January it what will be an interesting cup tie. Both teams are looking at the bigger picture of promotion but a cup run brings revenue and Sheff Utd last year went to the semi finals losing out to Arsenal at Old Trafford.

The teams have met once this season, Utd winning 5 - 3 at Bramall Lane.

There is FA Cup history between the sides as well. In 1925 Utd beat Cardiff City at Wembley in the first final that Cardiff ever appeared in. The Bluebirds enjoyed success two years later with victory over Arsenal in 1927.
