City get bye into LDV Vans 2nd round

The draw for the first round will take place this Saturday on Sky's Soccer AM show but City are already in the hat for round 2. Two Northern Clubs and two Southern Clubs were lucky enough to avoid the first round. Barnsley and Macclesfield from oop North and Cardiff and tonights visitors Brentford were the lucky Southern teams.
That leaves 44 Nationwide League teams and 12 Conference teams in round 1. The 28 winners will be joined by the four clubs above in round 2. The draw is regionalised with the winners of the Northern half meeting the winners of the Southern half at the Millennium Stadium early next year.
