City enter contract talks with Peter Thorne

Peter Thorne, who went on record lately as saying he'd like to end his career at Cardiff City, has opened up talks with the club over an extenmtion to his current contract.

Thorne's current deal runs out in 18 months time and City are keen to get his signature for a longer period.

Lennie said today

"It's not straightforward, and we're not there yet. He's said he wants to stay for the rest of his career so that's good. Hopefully we can bring it to a satisfactory conclusion."

Last week Lennie completed a contract extention with Tony Vidmar.
