Cardiff played worse against Huddersfield last Saturday and won, whereas tonight they offerered a more entertaining and dominant performance but came up against far better opposition and lost.
Hull showed they still had Premier League class by defending well against City's one paced attack and breaking with pace to always be a threat on the counter.
The visitors also out smarted Cardiff with their timewasting and professional petulance while being assisted by a useless referee.
City are not far away from being a significant player in the Championship this season. We just need a bit more guile and pace when needed. On this form Hull will be one of the teams at the top. If City play like they did tonight in the rest of their games they won't be far behind them.
So the unbeaten run comes to an end. No time to dwell too much. City must go to bottom of the table Rotherham on Saturday and bring three points home.

If that was last season the ground would've emptied after the 2nd goal went in, good to see the fans stayed til the end to support the boys!
