Barker is a promising left back and is highly rated amongst Barnsley supporters. Lennie was tightlipped at yesterdays press conference about Barker but it's been confirmed today that Barker is in Cardiff for talks.
The 22 year old has played over 120 games for Barnsley all at first division level. The deal is said to be for an initial £500,000 with a further £100,000 if City are promoted. There is no official confirmation of the fee but Lennie has confimed he is in negotiations with the player today.
