The weather and negative tactics put paid to that though. In fairness to all the wind was ridiculous. It blew one way, then the other, balls either sailed out of play or were blown back from where they came.
I think at the end both teams will be happy with clean sheets and a point from the game.
The sponsors voted Martyn Margetson as man of the match. Granted he made about 2 saves to Darren Ward's 1 but I think he was chosen because not one outfield player could be given such a high accolade.
Well done to Wayne Nash and the City groundstaff. On a day where matches were called off all over the place Cardiff City produced a perfect football pitch which played true for 90 minutes and looked as good at the end as it did at the start. Cardiff has been hammered by torrential rain over the last 24 hours but the pitch was immaculate.

We didn't lose, we are still 5 points from the play off places and would probably have settled for 4 points from the games v Forest and Derby. Thats means all will be well if beat the Rams next Saturday.
