"Whoever I'm playing with up front, every time we get the ball someone's always there kicking hell out of us.

"But when we're watching the back, it always seems that when their attackers get the ball, they get it, turn and they've got a lot of time on the ball. We need to work hard and get tight to people and not give them any space.

"To be fair to Colchester, we knew what they were going to do, but we couldn't handle it," said Chopra.

"First half we didn't get going. I don't know why it was. We didn't really get going until I scored.

"We've got a lot of creative players in the team, but it's a shame that we come to Colchester and us being top of the league we expect to win.

"We didn't get going, but we need to start picking up points because the teams below us have won and we've got to take a step back now, look forward and think about how we're going to win the next game.

"I don't think things will affect the players. We know what our jobs are, we've got to keep our concentration now and keep working hard whether we've earned four points out of the last 12 or no points out of 12.

"We know we've got to win games now if we're going to stay top of the league."
