"They were three quality strikes and he has now scored four in the last two games to show hopefully that he is back on track,

"Two weeks ago, he was being slaughtered for not scoring, now he will be flavour of the month again and it is my job to keep him on an even keel."

Jones was not too pleased with his defence gifting the visitors those late goals.

"We allowed them back into the game after I thought, at 3-0, we would go on to an even bigger victory but credit to the players as they dug in and we deserved to win."

"We showed some fight and spirit but we have to look at why we are so inconsistent.

"We were hit on the break but, in fairness, they were three quality finishes.

"We have had a turbulent time during the last 12 months and we do not have any strength in depth but we do have good players at the club, though at the moment we are two inconsistent."
