Cardiff have a chance today to redeem themselves when the face Bristol City at Ashton Gate.
Speaking to the Wales on Sunday Chopra said
"Just because we lost on Tuesday it doesn't mean our confidence has dropped. We are still full of confidence that we can get promoted.
"This game against Bristol is a chance to directly affect one of our rivals. And we need to consolidate our position in the playoffs.
"We know where we stand after Saturday's results. We know what we have to do and we will make sure we get the three points."
After the defeat in Norfolk, only City's 2nd in 17 League games, Chopra explained how the squad felt.
"All the boys were disappointed with the performance at Norwich," he said.
"We just didn't turn up, we let a lot of people, including the fans, down. They had travelled a long way to Norwich, six or seven hours on a bus, and we let them down. We've got to make sure we put that right today.
"It's going to be a tough game, but we have a lot of belief.
"And what a game to set the record straight with as well. Playing Bristol City is exactly the sort of game we were looking for after Norwich.
"Winning a derby match would give the fans bragging rights and, if you can do that, then Tuesday's result just gets forgotten about.
"That game won't be brought up again if we win. All people will be talking about is Bristol City.
"It's almost going to be like England against Wales too. So we know the Welsh fans will want to get one up on them.
"They are big rivals of ours, so it's a good one to win. It's a massive game."
Chops is determined to keep playing as the games keep coming despite have a heel injury.
"I've had a niggling injury which I've been trying to play through," said Chopra.
"I've got a problem with my left heel. But, with the games coming thick and fast, I don't want to miss any.
"The main thing for me is just to try and get on the scoresheet in every game. Strikers are judged on their goals and, if you are not scoring goals, people criticise you.
"I will do my best to play in all of them. And then, come the international break, I will rest it."
