"We are not really playing to our strengths, not fighting enough. We need big changes to be fair in everyone."
After a blistering start to the season City and Chopra are lacking in goals.
"As a striker you go through games where you're not going to score goals and it's just a matter of time when it was going to happen," he said.
"I'm pleased it's happening now and not towards the end of the season because if we are challenging for promotion at the end of the season, we need to be scoring goals.
"If I get one on Tuesday I will be back in the groove and back scoring again and everything is all rosy."
City will need to put in a perfomance at home to Derby on Tuesday because the 2nd half at Sheffield Wednesday was totally unacceptable.
"I think there's players playing with low confidence and I don't know why because they are playing for a good club," he continued.
"I'm part of the team as well and it's down to everyone. We are all in this together.
"Everyone's had their say. Whatever happens in the changing room stays in the changing room.
"It's the perfect time to put things right."
City will be missing Joe Ledley against Derby after his sending off at Hillsborough.
