No contract for Miller
Brann's super Scotsman has only had one training session with the first
team squad during his trial with Cardiff.
Charlie Miller has just ended a trial with Cardiff in Wales. He was going
to train with the team for a week to show manager Dave Jones what he can
do, but the stay hasn't been exactly like Miller expected.
Will be back next week
The lads had a match Saturday, and have had some restitution training.
I've only had one training with the first team squad, so you can say that
the stay hasn't answered my expectations. We've agreed that I'll return
after the match this weekend. It's difficult to judge me based on the last
week, and I understand that, Miller says.
Miller went back to Scotland yesterday, but is expected back in Cardiff on
Sunday or Monday. He'll then get a new chance to prove himself next week.
Despite the trial period not going the way he wished for he says that his
impression of the club is a good one.
- I like it very much here, and the signals I've been getting are
positive. We'll see what happens next week. The club is great and I'm
getting on well with the lads I've been training with. It would be nice if
I could get a contract. I now I have a lot to offer.
Others showing an interest
As long as Cardiff, who play at the next highest level in England, are
interested, Miller wants to stay focused on them. iBergen.no know that
another Championship club also considiring inviting the Scot for a trial.
On Tuesday Miller was supposed to play in a freindly match versus Yeovil,
but it was called off and in stead Cardiff played a local team in a park.
Miller called that match a farce.
Miller has one year left of his contract with Brann, but as known he wants
to leave.
