The former Cardiff player is remaining upbeat on his sides chances of victory in the capital after not managing to win their home leg. The bookies have made Cardiff favourites to win on their own patch.
He said: "There's a great atmosphere there, they love their team, love their players and it's a crowd that get behind their team like we do.
"But I don't regard it as hostility. It will be a great atmosphere. When I was a player there we were playing in front of five or six thousand, but times have changed and it's one of the best grounds in the division now.
"But we have won at Anfield as a group so we have no fear."
Cardiff need to go into the game equally as positive. I hope the Cardiff City we know can rip teams apart and win at a cantor at home turns up and not the timid bunch that trotted out against Middlesbrough.
