Cardiff City's home game agaist Watford has been postponed. As Storm Darragh is expected to hit South Wales overnight and in to Saturday morning the club have responded to the warning from the Met Office and the recommendations from the council and the police.
The Met Office has issued a rare red warning for wind in those areas on the map from early Saturday morning.
A statement from the club at 4pm on Friday stated:
Due to new advice received from the Met Office, and the recommendations of Cardiff Council and South Wales Police, tomorrow’s match has now been postponed in the interest of supporter safety.
A new date will follow in due course.
