Cardiff v Sheff Utd

Last updated : 23 March 2010 By BBC Sport

Sheffield United will be without injured striker Henri Camara (groin), but Chris Morgan is back after a ban.

Jamie Ward, Darius Henderson (both hamstring) and Ched Evans (collarbone) are still unavailable.

MATCH PREVIEW

If Cardiff City's thrilling 4-3 win when these sides met in October is anything to go by, the return encounter - a vital match in the race for the play-offs - is likely to be cracker.

Cardiff had been clinging onto sixth spot but are now five points ahead of Sheffield United, who are a place below them thanks to a combination of the Welsh team's improved form and the Blades' dismal away results.

The Bluebirds seemed to be there for the taking a couple of weeks ago, but have steadied the ship with back-to-back wins, while United are now looking to close the gap having failed to capitalise on recent chances to break into the top six.

Kevin Blackwell's men ended an abysmal run of seven straight away league defeats by drawing at Doncaster on Saturday. United have not won away since December, but Cardiff are yet to record a home win against a top-seven side this season.
