Cardiff v Nottm Forest. Preview

Last updated : 20 November 2010 By BBC Sport

Nottingham Forest boss Billy Davies has said he expects defender Kelvin Wilson to miss out because of a back injury.

Striker David McGoldrick has a knee injury and is also sidelined, as is goalkeeper Karl Darlow, who has a shoulder problem.

MATCH PREVIEW

Leaders Cardiff are unbeaten in nine league games against Nottingham Forest, who have not won in the Welsh capital since 1976. The Reds' away record - one win in 21 matches on the road - and City's current form both suggest that run is likely to be extended.

Billy Davies' men are facing a top two side for the second time in a week, having drawn 0-0 at home to second-placed Queens Park Rangers on Saturday. That was Forest's ninth draw of the season.

Forest have lost only one of their last six, but draws and a lack of goals are marring their season. They have scored 19 goals and are the only team outside the Championship's bottom six to have netted fewer than 20.

Cardiff have had no such problems. They have scored 33 league goals, making them the division's top scorers, have won seven of their last 10 games, and Bluebirds striker Jay Bothroyd, who played for England this week, has bagged eight goals in his last six outings.
