Leicester will assess on-loan striker James Vaughan, who has been struggling with a hamstring problem.
Matty Fryatt is back in training following his broken jaw and could feature before the end of the season.
MATCH PREVIEW
Promotion rivals Cardiff and Leicester face each other in a vital match, where either side could take a massive step towards sealing a Championship play-off place.
A victory for Leicester, who are sixth, would take them seven points clear of seventh-placed Blackpool, who would be eight points adrift of Cardiff if the Welsh side win Tuesday's game.
Cardiff, who are fourth, have steadied the ship after a worrying spell and are now unbeaten in four matches. They have also won seven of their last nine at home.
Leicester's form has been less encouraging. The Foxes have suffered back-to-back defeats, and are yet to pick up a point away from home this season against a fellow top-six side.
