C:WindowsTempphpCDD3.tmpManager Russell Slade could make a couple of changes for the meeting with Nottingham Forest but he remains without injured defender Sean Morrison (knee).

Craig Noone could have put himself in the frame for a recall after his goal from the bench at MK Dons while Fabio, Peter Whittingham, Joe Mason, Kagisho Dikgacoi and Stuart O'Keefe are also options for Slade.

Loan striker Tony Watt, who has scored twice in five games, will link up alongside Kenwyne Jones once again with the former Celtic striker expected to complete a £1million move from Charlton in the new year.

Nottingham Forest boss Dougie Freedman has confirmed Jonny Williams and Kelvin Wilson will both be back.

The pair sat out the 1-1 draw with Leeds on Sunday but will be in contention to start at the Cardiff City Stadium.

On-loan Crystal Palace midfielder Williams has not featured since the goalless draw against Blackburn on December 14 while Wilson has recovered from a slight Achilles problem.

Left-back Daniel Pinillos will miss the remainder of the season with an anterior cruciate ligament injury so Eric Lichaj will continue to deputise.

  • Cardiff have won six of the last seven league clashes with Forest, losing the other.
  • Forest have been victorious only once in their eight trips to Cardiff in the Championship since 2004 (D2 L5).
  • The Bluebirds haven't lost at home since September, winning four and drawing three games since then.
  • By contrast, Forest haven't won away since September (D3 L4).
