Cardiff sign new defender

Gyepes has been signed from Northampton Town where he played in their opening three games of the season. He scored once this season in a Northampton shirt, unfortunately it was an own goal but the Cobblers won 4 - 2 anyway.

Gyepes has been capped by Hungary nearly 20 times. He played for Fernecvaros is his home country until 2005 when Glenn Hoddle signed him for Wolves on loan. That turned into a permanent move before a cruciate injury ruled him our for around a year. His contract with Wolves was ended and he went back to Hungery to recouperate and regained full fitness.

He joined Northampton Town in January 2008 signing a new contract in April.

Today he signed for Cardiff City FC. He has been allocated the No. 6 shirt.
