Vincent Tan has responded to the poor start to the season and fired Erol Bulut.
Omer Riza has been put in temporary charge.
A statement from the club reads:
'Cardiff City Football Club can confirm First Team Manager Erol Bulut has been relieved of his duties and will leave the Club with immediate effect.
'The Board of Directors wish to thank Erol for all of his hard work and wish him well for the future.
'First Team Coach Nikolaos Karydas will also depart and leaves with the Club’s best wishes. Further backroom staff confirmation will follow in due course.'
Cardiff have scored just once this season in six league games. That goal earned a point at Swansea. The other five games played have all been lost to nil, including all three league games at CCS.
Just not good enough and it wasn't getting any better.
