Cardiff City have recalled Max Watters from his loan at MK Dons.
Initially set for a season long loan Cardiff have activated a clause in the agreement that will see Watters back at CCS from January 2nd.
He had scored seven goals in 14 appearances for MKD this season.
MK Dons Sporting Director Liam Sweeting said: “With every season-long loan deal, the parent club has the option to recall their player in January and while we are very much disappointed to lose Max, we respect Cardiff’s decision to activate that clause.
“Max made a strong contribution in the games that he played, scoring some important goals, and he returns to Wales with our gratitude and best wishes for the remainder of the season and his career.”
