Cardiff have been drawn at home to Luton Town in the 2nd round of the Carabao Cup.
The draw took place on Tuesday night after the Round 1 fixtures were completed.
City avoided local derbies against Newport or Swansea who were also drawn at home to West Ham United and Cambridge United respectively.
The fixtures will take place week commencing August 26th.
