Utility player Greg Halford has signed an 18 month contract at Cardiff City.
The 32 year old defender / midfielder teams up against with his old boss Neil Warnock after playing for him at Rotherham last season.
Halford has an a wealth of experience playing in the Premier League with Sunderland and Wolves, and in the Championship with Sheffield United, Portsmouth, Nottingham Forest and Brighton & Hove Albion and lately Rotherham.
Halford will offer cover in the defence and misfield areas with the ability to playin a number of roles. He also has a decent long throw on him as well.
