Cardiff won 5 - 0 against a Reading team that included former City loan player James Harper, one time target from Cambridge Dave Kitson and the player most City fans love to hate, Scott Murray.
City included Neil Alexander, Gareth Whalley, Andy Campbell and John Robinson in their line up as well as Mark Bonner, Jason Bowen, Gavin Gordon and James Collins.
