My counterpart at www.clarets-mad.co.uk has written to me and asked that I post this for you to read.
"It has been a very difficult few days for us here following the death of one the club's greatest ever servants Brian Miller. Brian was a fantastic man, former player, coach, and manager (twice) and also played for his country.
"The minute's silence before the game was observed impeccably by those on all four sides of the ground. Just a big thanks from us to Cardiff for that - it meant one of our greatest was granted the respect he so richly deserved."
I didn't hear it myself but I read that a Burnley fan had been on 606 (the radio phone in) to say much the same thing.
