The Tractor Boys boss said
"We have given Gary permission to speak to Cardiff City. He was on loan there last season and is now considering making it permanent and talks are ongoing."
Cardiff City have made no comment on Gary Croft but there could be confirmed news of him signing, if terms are agreed, when they hold a press conference at 12:30pm today to unveil Chris Barker.
